Livestock Guardian Dogs (LGDs) in Cave Junction, Oregon For Sale

Livestock guardian dogs are almost essential to anyone who wants to raise livestock in this area. They have been used for thousands of years to successfully protect livestock, as well as their owners and property, and can only be truly happy doing the job of their ancestors. I personally have lost around a dozen sheep (lambs, rams, ewes) to coyotes and a mountain lion, many chickens to hawks, weasels, and foxes, and considered getting out of the livestock business, until I got three wonderful working livestock guardian dogs. Now, my predator problems are almost non-existent and my dogs are extremely happy to be doing their job!
With that said, I have six (6) Great Pyrenees/Anatolian puppies that will be looking for livestock of their own to protect after Thanksgiving. Three are boys and three are girls and are a mix of white, brown, and black. I am asking $250 per pup. They are already exposed to nearly 100 sheep. While they cannot get out of their warm doghouse and kennel, their mother can and often leaves her pups to watch the sheep (but never too long). While it takes some time (roughly a year) to have a working LGD, it is important to start the LGD young with the animals you want to protect. This is especially important with small animals, such as chickens, ducks, and rabbits. Both parents are good with chickens and ducks. While the mother (Anatolian - grey & black) protects 100 sheep with two other LGDs, the father (Great Pyrenees - all white) protects chickens, children, and property (I do not own the father).
Three of the pups are black and white and three are brown and white. I also included pictures of the parents. The black and white young dog is from a previous litter that I kept and already protects sheep and chickens.
